St. Louis Community College-Wildwood unveiled its 10th edition of “Sycamore,” an annual of poetry, prose and art.
The 2018 edition spans 76 pages. The magazine features 22 literary works ranging from fiction to creative non-fiction, drama and poetry. The magazine also includes photographs of paintings and drawings created by 17 art students.
Faculty members Mark Weber and Dan Yezbick, Ph.D., served as editors and advisers for the 2018 edition. The cover artwork was created by student-artist Kim Kordonowy.
“It has been my privilege to help guide ‘Sycamore’ from concept to creation since its inception 10 years ago,” Weber said. “While each edition is unique, STLCC-Wildwood’s annual magazine continues to provide students with a professional platform to showcase their literary and artistic talents.”
Yezbick added, “Over the years, ‘Sycamore’ has matured and adapted to many concerns. It is our hope that ‘Sycamore’ continues to rise and reach for even higher heights over its next 10 seasons.”
Print copies of the magazine are available upon request. For details, contact Weber at firstname.lastname@example.org or Yezbick at email@example.com.
