St. Louis Community College and Missouri Department of Higher Education will host on-campus events to help students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA.
FAFSA Frenzy is Oct. 4 at STLCC’s Florissant Valley, Forest Park, Meramec and Wildwood locations. FAFSA Frenzy will be held Nov. 7 at Harrison Education Center.
Students will receive free professional help to complete the application form, which is primarily used by federal, state and institutional financial assistance programs to determine an individual’s eligibility for grants, loans, work-study and scholarships. Any student, regardless of where they plan to attend college, is invited to FAFSA Frenzy.
What to bring
Be prepared for FAFSA Frenzy with the following:
- Student and parent Federal Student Aid identification information
- Parent 2017 taxes and 2017 W2s
- Student 2017 taxes and 2017 W2s
- Parent Social Security card
- Student Social Security card
- List of schools to which you have applied, been accepted to, or are interested in attending

Students can begin completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid as early as Oct. 1.
Students who plan to take classes in spring or summer 2019 need to complete the 2018-2019 FAFSA. Students who plan to take classes in fall 2019 should complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA.
