St. Louis Community College will offer LaunchCode’s introduction to computer programming course — an intensive, 20-week program designed to train students with skills they need to seek an apprenticeship and ultimately a career in technology.
LaunchCode will be hosting LC 101 in three locations this summer to help individuals gain the skills needed for a successful career in technology. LC 101 teaches skills needed to be employable as a programmer, and is best suited for individuals who are interested in a tech career. Participants should be 18 or older.
The free course, which runs 5:30-8:30 p.m. beginning July 17, will be offered at these sites:
- St. Louis Community College’s Corporate College (3221 McKelvey Road, Bridgeton, MO 63044)
- St. Louis Community College-South County (4115 Meramec Bottom Road, St. Louis, MO 63129)
- LaunchCode’s Mentor Center (4811 Delmar Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108)
By completing LC 101, participants can receive nearly a whole semester’s worth of college credits toward STLCC’s Software Developer Associate in Applied Science degree.
Enrollment ends June 28. For more information, email email@example.com.
