Seven faculty members will show their works in St. Louis Community College-Wildwood’s art exhibition, which runs Nov. 27 through Jan. 26, 2018.

The exhibition spans 60 feet and includes at least two pieces of art from artists Terrell Carter, James Davania, Sean Frye, Mark Oakley, Mark Weber, Matt Weber and Ken Worley.

According to Mark Weber, professor of art and department chair at STLCC-Wildwood, the exhibition works to inspire creativity by showcasing each artists’ unique style.

“Every faculty member who teaches art at STLCC is a producing artist,” Weber said. “What they teach in the classroom comes from years of practice and research. The ideas and images they produce in their studios is evidence of the artistic journey.”

STLCC-Wildwood’s Gallery of Contemporary Art is located on the campus’ third floor, 2645 Generations Drive. Gallery hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
